I understand the new BSG to be rather good, though I don't watch it very much. However, I am the proud owner of the original, complete epic series on DVD that I am now imparting onto my own children. The Cylon-Head box is "the coolest" according to them. Okay, according to me, too. Classic stuff. I highly recommend it if you want something kid-worthy. It affects not only men and boys, but the women in their lives who love them.... moms, sisters, grandparents... and it's heartbreaking for everyone.
